Description:
A dreamy 1969 album by a California guitar and vocal duo discovered by former Beau Brammell's singer/songwriter Ron Elliott. The duo consists of Mark McClure (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals), who would later become a member of Joyous Noise, known as a swamp backstage classic, and Dan Levitt (acoustic guitar, banjo, vocals), who would join the reorganized Beau Brammels in the 1970s, This is the only album released by the Californian folk duo on Canada's Warner label. Produced by Ron Elliott, leader of the Beau Brammels, who were creating progressive acoustic pop rock based in LA in the late 1960s.In addition to the two original songs, the album features Dylan's "Tomorrow is a Long Way Away" and "Empty Box," a song written by Elliott and covered by the Everly Brothers. (1970), and the dreamy sound production that heralds the eve of Burbank is also a must-hear.---.
